Save the Date! 22nd Annual Ridley Health Awareness Day

There’s lots of fun for the whole family at Ridley Health Awareness Day, an annual offering of free health screenings, information, kids’ activities and more. The event will once again be combined with the YMCA’s annual Healthy Kids Day, and will be held on Sat., April 14, from 9 a.m. to noon at Ridley High School.

Offerings include cholesterol/glucose (8:30-10:30 a.m. only; fasting required—nothing to eat or drink after midnight the night before), skin cancer, foot and ankle, and blood pressure screenings; an “Ask the Doctor” table; and information on a variety of topics (e.g., nutrition, safety, pediatric and adult sleep disorders, senior services, emergency services and more). There will be lots of fun activities in the gym for the kids, and food will be available for purchase. Stop by early for free gifts!
