Mena Dabbundo of Contemporary Styles by Mena hair salon in Media recently donated $59,547 to Crozer-Keystone Cancer Services. The total is the proceeds from the 13th Annual Girls Night Out fund-raising event, which was held on Oct. 10 at the Springfield Country Club. The money was used to purchase new stereotactic breast equipment in the Breast Center at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

Dabbundo and her team have worked very hard to take the event from a little-known local event to a juggernaut that — just by word of mouth alone — is usually sold out months in advance.

Dabbundo is also a member of the Delco Memorial Foundation Board.
