CKHS Named One of the Nation's Top 100 Integrated Health Networks
Crozer-Keystone was named one of the top 100 “Integrated” Health Networks in the country by IMS. IMS is the leading provider of information services for the health care industry, covering markets in more than 100 countries around the world.
Each year, IMS surveys local and regional, non-specialty integrated health networks using a standard methodology for collecting the data, and then rates them based on their performance level and degree of integration. The rating system is based on critical success factors, including each network's ability to operate as a unified organization in eight categories: integration, integrated technology, contractual capabilities, outpatient utilization, financial stability, services and access, hospital utilization and physicians.
Overall, six health systems in Pennsylvania were ranked in the top 100 by IMS. Crozer-Keystone is the 4th highest ranked health system in Pennsylvania (75th nationwide), and is the only health system in the Philadelphia area that made the list.
“We are extremely proud to be recognized as one of the nation’s most integrated health systems. This achievement is a testament to the hard work, expertise and teamwork exhibited every day by the clinical, administrative and support teams who make up the Crozer-Keystone Health System,” says Joan K. Richards, president and chief executive officer of Crozer-Keystone Health System.
