Crozer’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology recently recognized Joel Noumoff, M.D. for his clinical excellence and leadership within the department.
In addition to establishing Crozer-Keystone’s well-respected gynecologic oncology program in 1993, for which he serves as chief, Noumoff served as chairman of the Department of OB/GYN from 1997 to 2009.

His professional reputation extends well beyond Crozer-Keystone. For example, he currently serves as chairman of the Pennsylvania Cancer Control and Research Advisory Board, and he was named chair of the subcommittee established to review and revise Pennsylvania’s comprehensive Cancer Control plan. He been named a “top doctor” by Philadelphia magazine and Main Line Today magazine.
Thomas Bader, M.D., current chair of the Department of OB/GYN at Crozer, Patrick Gavin, Crozer president, and Richard Waldman, former president of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, provided remarks at the event. It was attended by physicians in the department, OB/GYN residents, Crozer administrators and members of Noumoff’s family.
