Crozer-Keystone supported Delaware County Council in February when the Council presented a resolution recognizing American Heart Month. The first Friday of the month was designated as “Go Red” Day, when people across the country are urged to wear red to raise awareness.

In addition to participating in the reading of the resolution, Crozer-Keystone representatives teamed with the county’s Department of Intercommunity Health to offer blood pressure screenings and heart health information to both employees and visitors in the Government Center lobby.

Representatives from the American Heart and Stroke Associations also addressed Council along with two stroke survivors who now help others recover from the debilitating effects of a stroke.
