Crozer Hosts Annual Resident Research Day

Crozer-Keystone Health System’s Office of Medical Education held its annual Resident Research Day on May 25 at the James E. Clark Center at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

Residents presenting at the program gained experience preparing, organizing and disseminating research results in preparation for presenting at a regional or national scientific meeting.  

Congratulations to the winners: 

  • Case Report Category: “A Rare Presentation of Ambiguous Genitalia in a Newborn – 46 Xx Male Syndrome Without Sry Gene,” by Krishna Pancham, M.D., of the Pediatric Residency Program.
  • Quality Improvement Category: “CKD in Primary Care Setting: Evaluation of the Implementation of KDOQI Clinical Practice Guidelines,” by Yuvraj Sharma, M.D.; Sean Flynn, D.O.; Linet Lonappan, M.D.; Saurabh Bansal, M.D.; Sarun Thomas, D.O.; and Karthik Bekal, D.O. of the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
  • Research Category: “Erythropoiesis Stimulating Agent (ESAs) Order Set Usage: Improvement in Utilization and Cost Savings Across Crozer-Keystone Health System. Comparing Pre- and Post-Implementation Era,” by Ahad Lodhi, M.D., of the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
