Norman Leopold, D.O., Honored by American Parkinson Disease Association
Norman Leopold, D.O., Crozer Chester Medical Center, was honored by the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association for his professional achievements and his excellence in working with Parkinson’s disease patients. The Nov. 5 event was held at the Drexelbrook Corporate Events Center.
Leopold is a board-certified neurologist who has been on staff at Crozer-Chester Medical Center since 1974. In addition to his clinical and teaching responsibilities, he was instrumental in building Crozer’s Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center and has been its medical director since it was established in 1993.
Leopold is also a clinical associate professor of Neurology at the Drexel University School of Medicine. His works in the topic of movement disorders and other neurological diseases have been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and reference textbooks. His research has also been presented at numerous international scientific meetings.
