Zegar Earns National Human Resources Award
Eugene Zegar, vice president of Human Resources for Crozer-Keystone Health System, recently received the Outstanding Chapter Officer Award from the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA).
ASHHRA is a professional membership group of the American Hospital Association that is exclusively dedicated to meeting the professional needs of human resources leaders in health care. The organization awards the Chapter Officer Award annually to someone who has made a significant contribution to a chapter via excellence in chapter management and/or distinguished leadership.
Zegar, a resident of West Chester, served as president of the local ASHHRA chapter, the Philadelphia and Suburban Healthcare Human Resource Association (PASHHRA), in 2009. He has also served on the Leadership Committee for the Pennsylvania Centers for Health Careers, on the boards of the Delaware County Workforce Investment Board, Life Science Career Alliance and Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union.
Zegar has served in his role with Crozer-Keystone since 1995.
