DCMH Welcomes Delco’s First Babies of 2010
Going into labor was probably one of the last things that Naomi Bradley thought she would be doing on New Year’s Eve.
However, as she was surfing the Web that evening, Bradley’s water broke and nine hours later her son was born—10 days ahead of schedule—making him the first baby of 2010 in Delaware County.
Her little boy was born at 4:51 a.m. at Delaware County Memorial Hospital weighing 8 pounds 12 ounces and measuring 21 inches in length. He is the first child for Bradley, who resides in Yeadon, and new father Jermaine Berry.
DCMH also had the privilege of welcoming the first baby girl of 2010 in Delaware County. At 6:20 a.m., Caryn Capra gave birth to baby Cayla, who weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces and measured 18 ¾” in length. She is the sixth child for Capra and Brion Guy, of Philadelphia.
