Delco Cruisers at Crozer

Members of the Delco Cruisers pose outside of Crozer-Chester Medical Center before delivering toys to children at the hospital on Dec. 6.

The Delco Cruisers, a Delaware County car club, delivered dozens of toys to Crozer-Chester Medical Center for the benefit of pediatric patients on Dec. 6 as part of the group’s annual “Holiday Cruise for Kids.”

More than 75 Delco Cruisers members in dozens of classic cars of all types came to Crozer to deliver gifts. Members of the group dressed as Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus led a small contingent of the group’s members to Crozer’s Pediatrics Unit and Adolescent Psychology Unit to bring gifts to the children and teen-agers being treated there. Additional gifts provided by the club will be used to benefit patients in those units in the coming weeks. Representatives of the U.S. Marines helped out as part of the “Toys for Tots” program.

The Delco Cruisers is a family-oriented, all-inclusive car club, without restriction to year or make of vehicle. The group aims to do charitable work within the community, interact with neighboring car clubs and promote inter-club shows and cruises. Visit for more information.
