Employee Giving Campaign to Benefit the Renovation of Patient Rooms and Corridors at Crozer-Chester Medical Center

The Crozer-Chester Medical Center makeover will renovate patient rooms and corridors creating an updated, pleasing and comfortable appearance that our patients, family, friends and neighbors need and deserve during a hospital stay.

Your donation to the Employee Giving Campaign will support these improvements to the environment of care and help us reach our goal to renovate 200 rooms and upgrade the corridors.

Event Kick-Off

The Kick-Off Celebration of the Crozer Employee Giving Campaign, Extreme Makeover: Crozer Edition, on Oct. 17 was a great success. Steady streams of employees stopped by the Clark Education Center throughout the afternoon to enjoy ice cream and cake, partake in games and meet Philadelphia Union player Amobi Okugo. Employees also viewed a sample renovated room on the 3 South Unit. Most importantly, many employees signed up to be a part of the giving campaign in efforts to renovate patient rooms and corridors at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Last week, with your help, we raised $160,000. Encourage your co-workers to help meet our goal of $325.000.

See the attached list of prize winners from our Oct. 22 and Oct. 29 events, plust the weekend shift kick-off events! If you haven’t signed up to be part of the excitement, there is still time. All those who make a commitment to donate will have the opportunity to be entered in a series of raffles that vary in size. In addition, employees who commit to $390 or more over three years (only $5 per pay) are eligible to win the vacation package for two at any Hyatt Place in the United States with airfare. Other grand prizes include an iPad, a Dell notebook computer, a one-year membership at the Healthplex Sports Club, a day off with pay and parking for one year.

Do Your Part to Help Improve Crozer-Chester Medical Center!
By participating in our employee campaign, you can help to upgrade patient rooms and corridors at Crozer. The ultimate goal is to raise $325,000 to help under write some of the cost of the renovations. During this exciting time,weekly events will be held to help raise awareness of the campaign. Employees who make a financial commitment will also be eligible for great raffle prizes and fabulous grand prizes. And, your gift will be recognized with your name on our employee campaign plaque.

Patient room upgrades will include:

• New wood grain flooring and baseboard
• New wallcovering and paint
• New window treatments and privacy curtains
• New furniture and lighting
