Joelle McManus, site coordinator for Radiology services at Crozer-Keystone Broomall and Delaware County Memorial Hospital, shares the following patient compliments recognizing two radiology technologists at Delaware County Memorial Hospital:

Kerri Glassman in Ultrasound – A patient made it a point to let us know that Kerri was caring and compassionate – Crozer-Keystone is lucky to have her on staff!

Bettina Evans in Nuclear Medicine – A patient called to say she had a brain scan was very nervous and anxious. Bettina was amazing! She was a calming presence and went above and beyond to make the patient feel comfortable. Bettina provided excellent customer service!

Crozer-Keystone ‘Cycle to Save Lives’ Fitness Challenge: April 1-30

Sent on behalf of Crozer-Keystone Transplant Team

For the 2019 National Donate Life Month theme, Donate Life America was inspired by bicycles and the phrase “Life is a beautiful ride.” Like the donation and transplant journey, a bicycle serves as a symbol of progress, renewal and the moving circle of life.

In celebration of National Donate Life Month and this year’s theme, Crozer-Keystone Health System’s Transplant team is hosting a “Cycle to Save Lives” fitness challenge during the month of April. Individuals can participate in any fitness location. Whoever can log the most miles in a month wins a gift card.

Teams can be made up of 2 to 5 members. Weekly averages are calculated by the total number of hours exercised per team, divided by the number of team members. All participants must register by Friday, March 22 via Marissa McAndrew at Marissa.McAndrew@crozer.org or 610-619-8420.

In honor of National Donate Life Month, we ask you to consider your role in this lifesaving and healing journey, and how you can inspire others to provide hope through donor registration and living donation.

We each carry the potential to help make LIFE a beautiful ride for ourselves, and for others.

24th Annual Gift of Life Donor Dash – Sunday, April 14

Sent on behalf of the Crozer-Keystone Transplant Team

In celebration of National Donate Life Month, the Donor Dash is an annual event honoring the lives of organ and tissue donors, celebrating the lives of organ and tissue recipients and recognizing those who continue to wait for a lifesaving transplant.

The 24th Annual Donor Dash will take place on Sunday, April 14 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The event includes a 10k run at 7:10 a.m., a 5k run at 7:20 a.m., a Kids Fun Run at 7:45 a.m. and a 3k walk at 8:30 a.m.

The popular annual event, which attracts more than 10,000 people from throughout the tristate region, raises essential funds to educate the community about the need for more people to register as organ and tissue donors.  Held at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, it is our largest and most visible event of the year.

All Crozer-Keystone employees are invited to join TEAM CROZER-KEYSTONE. Click here for more information or to register today.
