DCMH Breast Cancer Support Group
The DCMH breast cancer support group will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 7-8 p.m. in the Delaware County Regional Cancer Center (first floor of the hospital’s Medical Office Building). Led by Allison Aggon, D.O., breast surgeon at the DCMH Center for Breast Health, the support group is open to breast cancer patients in all phases of treatment—from newly diagnosed to breast cancer survivors. Crozer-Keystone’s 2015 Stroke Education and Awareness Contest
Win cash prizes or a pizza party for your unit/department!
About the Contest
Children and adults are invited to show off their creativity with a seasonal-themed design (Summer, Spring, Fall or Winter). Artwork should include information about stroke awareness/prevention, the need to call 911, and a logo or slogan. Useful information on stroke can be found on the National Stroke Association’s website (www.stroke.org).
All winning designs will be featured on a 2016 calendar that will be mass-produced and distributed throughout the community.
Each winner will have the choice of a $100 cash prize or a pizza party for their work unit/department. Honorable mention winners will receive a $50 cash prize.
This is meant to be a creative, fun and educational project. Staff, children and family members are welcome to design and submit a project.

Crozer-Keystone Employees are Now Eligible for Lower Membership Fees
Crozer-Keystone employees and their spouses who sign a one-year contract and agree to a convenient payroll deduction are now eligible for a monthly fee of just $59 a month at the Healthplex® Sports Club. This is $10/month reduction from the already-reduced rate previously offered to employees.
In addition, employees and spouses enrolled in the CKHS Advantage, Advantage PLUS, or Indemnity Medical Plan can earn up to $400 in reimbursements annually, reducing the rate to as low as $25.67 per month.
What if I’m already a member?
If you are an employee who is already a member, all you have to do to receive this new rate is commit to a one-year contract and payroll deduction.

Upcoming CPR & Babysitting Courses
Healthline Services is pleased to offer the following CPR classes and “Safe Sitter” Babysitting program:
CPR (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
This program includes modules on adult one-rescue CPR, adult two-rescue CPR, infant and child CPR, and adult and pediatric obstructed-airway techniques.
Program will be held from 9a.m. to 2p.m. in the Conference Center at DCMH on Saturdays, Sept. 26 and Oct 17. Cost is $65 per person. Call (610) 394-1877 to register.
CPR (Heartsaver AED: Adult and Pediatric)
This program is for lay persons and includes modules on adult one-rescue CPR, infant and child CPR, and adult and pediatric obstructed-airway techniques.
Program will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Conference Center at DCMH on Saturdays, Sept. 19 and Oct 3. Cost is $55 per person or $80 per couple. Call (610) 394-1877 to register.
“Safe Sitter®” Babysitting Program
“Safe Sitter” is a one-day course available to youths 11 years and older. The program teaches them how to care for infants and young children. Taught by certified instructors, SafeSitter thoroughly covers the basics of child care. Students learn about, practice and role play in an array of topics including:
- Safety precautions
- Rescue breathing techniques
- Care for a choking infant or child
- How to recognize emergencies
- Calling for emergency help
