New Upcoming JRCERT Requirements

Beginning in year 2015, all students must graduate with a minimum of an Associates Degree (any major). Therefore, all students interested in admission to the Radiography Program in academic year 2013 must have the degree in place prior to beginning the program.

Kevin Tighe Memorial Scholarship Fund

About the Scholarship Fund

In 2010, the Radiography Program suffered a loss of one of its junior year students who was attending the program for several months. The Kevin Tighe Memorial Scholarship Fund was started to sponsor a future radiology student candidate attending the Crozer-Chester Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology. A selection committee has been formed to review criteria and to pick the recipient of this scholarship. 

The scholarship, which is awarded to one newly-accepted student in January and July, was implemented to financially assist a student candidate with textbooks while attending the two-year Radiography Program. While Kevin was unable to fulfill his goal in becoming a Radiologic Technologist, this Memorial Scholarship Fund will be dedicated in his memory, helping others to accomplish what he had started.

Online Donations via Credit Card

To donate to the Kevin Tighe Memorial Scholarship Fund, please follow these directions carefully:

1. Go to the Crozer-Chester Medical Center donation site.
2. Choose the amount you wish to donate in "Donation Information."
3. Choose "Crozer's Area of Greatest Need" in the "Designation" drop-down box on the same page and click "Add Donation."
4. On the next page, complete Additional Information, if necessary, as well as required fields with a red asterisk in "Billing Information" and "Payment Information." Finally, scroll all the way down to "Tribute Information" at the bottom of the page. Choose 'In Memory of' in the "Type" drop-down box and type Kevin Tighe's first and last name in the designated boxes.
5. Click on "Donate Now."

To donate by check, make out your check to "Crozer-Chester Foundation" and in the memo of your check, write "Kevin Tighe Fund."
