Walking

Older adults can gain significant health benefits with a moderate amount of physical activity. Simply by walking thirty minutes a day, the risk of stroke, bad cholesterol and high blood pressure can be greatly reduced. Walking, along with other activities like golf, swimming and gardening, can extend life expectancy and have very beneficial long-term health effects by improving strength and longevity.
