Crozer-Keystone Nurse-Family Partnership is a free evidence based nurse-home visiting program for first-time low-income moms. Having your first baby is such an exciting time, and most women have many questions and doubts that come along with their precious little bundle. That’s where the nurse-home visitor can lend a hand. Eligible clients work with their own registered nurse who makes visits to your home during pregnancy, and until your baby turns two years old. The program now serves about 125 women per year.
The visits are an opportunity for new moms to learn and get answers to those questions that come up along the way. Our moms learn about:
- Having a healthy pregnancy
- Getting the most out of prenatal care
- Taking care of your new baby
- Learning about safety issues related to babies and toddlers
- Resources that may help you
- Healthy relationships
- Parenting and discipline
- Additional topics which may be of interest
