Crozer-Keystone Diversity Statement

As a system, CKHS has adopted an official Diversity Statement and has established a Systemwide Diversity Council. Following is Crozer-Keystone's diversity statement: 

Crozer-Keystone Health System recognizes that the communities it serves are comprised of people from many diverse backgrounds and, as such, the organization has both a professional and ethical responsibility to recognize and meet the diverse cultural needs of its communities. To this end, CKHS is committed to building and nurturing an environment where the perspectives, skills and values of people from all backgrounds are sought out, welcomed and appreciated. CKHS is committed to encouraging personal development and career growth in colleagues from all backgrounds and is committed to modeling, educating and upholding standards of communication and behavior that fosters an inclusive work environment where all people are treated with respect and dignity. 

The health system also increased minority subgroup representation in its workforce, as illustrated in the table below, and maintains demographic proportions that are relatively consistent with that of Delaware County.
