The Center for Diabetes offers comprehensive classes to help patients understand diabetes. The health care team works with you to teach them how to balance their care and provides a clear understanding of Diabetes.

Description

Individual instruction and overview of diabetes; causes, symptoms, recommended action for hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia; benefits of exercise; overview of medications and foot care. Review American Diabetes Association (ADA) guidelines: blood sugar goals, Hemoglobin A1c, and Standards of Care.

 

Program participants may be required to have an insurance referral and/or a signed doctor note. This information can be faxed to 610-328-8922. Please check with your insurance carrier regarding your coverage.
