Description

Safe Sitter Babysitting Program

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Delaware County Memorial Hospital’s Healthline Services offers the “Safe Sitter” Program, a one-day course that trains youths (11 years and older) to care for infants and young children.

During the program, students listen, practice and role play on an array of topics, including:

  • Safety precautions
  • Rescue breathing techniques
  • Care for a choking infant or child
  • Recognizing emergencies
  • Calling for emergency help

The program is held in Meeting Room A at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Fee is $50 per person and pre-registration is required; call (610) 284-8158.
