Ridley Health Awareness Day/YMCA Healthy Kids Day
Bring the whole family to Ridley High School, located at 901 Morton Avenue in Folsom, for Ridley Health Awareness Day and YMCA Healthy Kids Day, an annual offering of fun, free health screenings, information, kids’ activities and much more.
The event will include the following screenings:

Blood Pressure Screenings

Cholesterol/Glucose (8:30-10:30 a.m. Fasting is required; nothing to eat or drink past midnight the night before the screening.)

Osteoporosis Screenings

Skin Cancer Screenings (10 a.m.-Noon)

Foot and Ankle Screenings
-
Vision Screenings
-
Pulmonary Function Testing
-
Hand/Carpal Tunnel Screenings
The event will also feature special informational from a variety of Taylor Hospital and Crozer-Keystone departments and services, including: nutrition, cancer care, CPR and safety demonstrations, cardiac care, child behavioral health, community health education, drug and alcohol abuse prevention, emergency services, the Geriatric Evaluation Management (GEM) program, Senior Health Services, stress management, tobacco cessation and more.
Fun activities for the entire family will also be available—including yoga, zumba, swimming activities, a moon bounce (weather permitting), face painting, and the TCF Teddy Bear Check-Up Clinic.
The event is sponsored by Taylor Hospital, the Ridley Township Board of Commissioners, the Taylor Community Foundation (TCF), Ridley School District and the Ridley Area YMCA.
