Crozer-Keystone Health System will offer an educational program and free cancer screenings for men. Screenings will include Glucose/Cholesterol Screenings and Prostate Screenings/Exam.
8 to 9 a.m.
Free Glucose and Cholesterol Screenings
Patients are required to begin fasting at midnight in order to have the screening done.
Prostate Lab Work
Patients who are pre-registered for a prostate screening must have their blood work done before the exam. Fasting in not necessary for men coming for this exam only.
Continental breakfast available in the Cancer Center
9 to 11 a.m.
Educational Sessions: Prostate, Cardiology, Pain Management and Colorectal Health. Informational tables and blood pressure screenings will also be available.
11 a.m. to noon
Free prostate screenings are available for men who are over 50 years old (40 years old if you are African American or have a family history of prostate cancer). Participants should not be under the care of an urologist, have been previously treated for prostate cancer, or have had a PSA test within the last year.
Appointments are necessary. Space is limited.
