Stress is a common factor in our everyday lives. It affects us emotionally, mentally and even physically preventing us from enjoying our lives. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction is a new program designed to help.
The classes are part of a 9-week long program designed to help participants critical life-long stress management skills to reduce stress, improve health and increase the quality of life.
The program was developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, MBSR is supported by over two decades of research.
Curt Woolford, MA, E-RYT, will be leading the course. Woolford began his personal meditation practice 25 years ago and has been teaching yoga, meditation, and tai chi/qigong for 15 years. He is a practitioner of yoga and mindfulness forms of meditation and is certified from Kripalu. With degrees in Philosophy and Educational Psychology, Curt brings a deep awareness of the learning process to his mindfulness instruction.
