Seeking Neonatologist for Excellent Opportunity in Suburban Philadelphia Area
Crozer-Keystone Health System in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, is recruiting a full-time faculty member to become part of its 6-member Neonatology Division. The ideal candidate will be a board certified Neonatologist with an interest in outstanding clinical care and education for this exciting and new opportunity.
The Neonatology Division provides care at an 18-bed level IIIb unit at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, which has the capability of providing care to all gestational age infants, as well as a 6-bed level IIIa NICU at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. There are over 3800 deliveries annually between the 2 delivery hospitals and resulting in 50-60 combined very low birth weight infant admissions per year. Both NICUs have strong quality improvement programs and the Division participates in the Vermont Oxford Network.
The Division employs 4.5 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and 1 Physician Assistant. The CCMC Department of Pediatrics residency program consists of 18 residents and is a core teaching site for the Temple University School of Medicine.
Current faculty scholarly interests include perinatal infections, neonatal abstinence syndrome, ROP and neonatal simulation.
