The Center for Diabetes offers comprehensive classes to help patients understand Gestational diabetes. The health care team works with you to teach them how to balance their care and provides a clear understanding of Gestational diabetes.

Registration Details

Registration is closed.

Registration is Required. This class is held every Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Program participants may be required to have a referral form from their physician. Please check with your insurance carrier regarding your coverage.

Fees & Payment

The Center for Diabetes accepts most major insurance plans. Many class registration fees are also covered by insurance.


Gestational diabetes education classes are held for the pregnant woman that has gestational diabetes. Gestational diabetes occurs for some women when they become pregnant and the stress of pregnancy causes blood sugar levels to be elevated. This form of diabetes can be harmful to the pregnant women and baby. This class educates the participant on diet, exercise and blood sugar monitoring.


Program participants may be required to have an insurance referral and/or a signed doctor note. This information can be faxed to 610-328-8922. Please check with your insurance carrier regarding your coverage.

All participants are encouraged to meet at The Center for Diabetes prior to the start of class and a member of the team will guide the class to the conference room.
