Aqua Wellness Classes

Classes are held in out warm water therapy pool and run 45-60 minutes.  Exercise specialists guide participants through a gentle, yet effective series of endurance and strengthening exercises, including warm up and cool down.

Aqua Arthritis

This 45 minute class meets several times a week in our warm-water activity pool with trained and certified instructors who provide a friendly, supportive environment. Low/No-impact Exercises are especially designed to offer relief from pain and stiffness for people with arthritis. Participation in this class helps improve your joint flexibility and strength, which can help improve coordination, balance and overall mobility with the aid of the water’s buoyancy and resistance. The instructor is CPR and AED-certified through the American Heart Association.

Aqua Easy

This one-hour, low-impact class held in our warm-warm activity pool with trained and certified instructors who provide a friendly, supportive environment. This class is designed for people recovering from orthopedic injuries, neuromuscular disorders and limited exercise capacity. This class helps improves strength and flexibility using the resistance and buoyancy of the water, it also incorporate cardiovascular exercise to help round out your balanced exercise program. Aqua Easy meets several times per week. The instructor is CPR and AED-certified through the American Heart Association. 

Aqua Fibromyalgia

This low/no-impact class held in the warm-water activity pool with trained and certified instructors who provide a friendly, supportive environment.  This class takes advantage of the therapeutic properties of the warm water. This class helps to increase rage of motion and muscle relaxation and to decrease chronic pain, stress and other physical discomforts associated with fibromyalgia, arthritis and similar conditions. Slow, gentle motions and an integrated total body approach enhance the mind body connection and an overall positive outlook. The instructor is also CPR and AED-certified through the American Heart Association. 

Ai-Chi

This low/no-impact class is held in our warm water activity pool with trained and certified instructors who provide a friendly, supportive environment. This class is a form of water exercise which uses slow circular movements to build strength, balance and flexibility while also promoting relaxation and a healthy mind-body relationship. The instructor is also CPR and AED-certified through the American Heart Association. 

Water Workout

This low impact, moderate intensity exercise class is held in our warm water activity pool with trained and certified instructors who provide a friendly, supportive environment. This class pays special attention to cardiovascular conditioning and muscle strengthening. This total body workout also includes core toning, and stretching. Water Workout meets several times per week. The instructor is CPR and AED-certified through the American Heart Association. 

Aqua NMC

This low impact, moderate intensity exercise class is held in our warm water activity pool with the last portion being in the cooler water lap pool with trained and certified instructors who provide a friendly, supportive environment. This class allows the participant to increase their mind body awareness in the buoyant warm water environment. Gentle motion and an integrated total body approach enhance the mind body connection and an overall positive outlook. The instructor is also CPR and AED-certified through the American Heart Association.

Body Sculpting

This low impact, moderate intensity exercise class is held in our warm water activity pool with trained and certified instructors who provide a friendly, supportive environment. This class focuses on challenging muscle groups while using a variety of exercise equipment. Class simulates time in the weight room while utilizing the support of the water. The instructor is also CPR and AED-certified through the American Heart Association.
